The Cincinnati, OH VA Medical Center is seeking a well-qualified Registered Nurse (RN). This full time RN will function as a Float Nurse and provide inpatient nursing care to a wide variety of internal medicine specialties, including inpatient oncology and many patients with co-morbid conditions: COPD, CHF, dementia, diabetes, hematology disorders, infectious diseases, G.I. disorders, substance abuse, cellulitis, wound/skin problems, renal failure and liver fail. Under the supervision of the Nurse Officer on Duty (NOD) Manager, the float nurse is accountable for inpatient nursing care to a wide variety of internal medicine specialties.
