The MDRO Coordinator/Accreditation Specialist position is located within the QSV department which is a under the Medical Center Director of the Mann-Grandstaff VA Medical Center (MGVAMC). The primary function of this position is to provide program management, oversight , and continual improvement for the Infection Control/MDRO program and Accreditation as it relates to Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF). Utilizes the nursing process effectively to coordinate and evaluate the medical center infection control program. Facilitates and promotes the delivery of high-quality care to patients in all adult phases of the life cycle.
