The role of the Polytrauma Registered Nurse is to work within an interdisciplinary framework to support and maintain the health, independence, quality of life, and productivity of veterans with rehabilitation needs throughout their lives and provide excellent care to the veterans living with illness such as traumatic brain injury, amputations and other injuries at the Southeast Louisiana Veterans Health Care System. Applicants pending the completion of educational or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met.
