Position SummaryAcute Care Float Pool Registered Nurses utilize a patient and family-centered approach to provide compassionate and high-quality care for children of all ages. Acute Care Float Pool Nurses are assigned on a shift-by-shift basis to care for patients in one of the acute care units, including: Care Areas 1, 7, 8, 9, 10, and med/surg overlfow. Patient populations cared for include acute and chronic medical, surgical, hem/onc, rehab, and behavioral health patients. Nurses collaboratively work with a multi-disciplinary team to care for patients. Clinical leadership is available on both days and nights to provide ongoing support. The Acute Care Float Pool environment requires those with flexibility, strong critical-thinking and decision-making skills, excellent
