Location: LaGrange, IL 

The role you’ll contribute:

The Registered Professional Nurse (RN) is responsible for developing and implementing cardiac rehabilitation treatment plans and provision of cardiac education to adult and geriatric patients and their families. The RN will facilitate delivery of care for the assigned group of patients within this unit, and perform all related clinical activities.

·         Assessment – Collects patient health data

·         Diagnosis – Analyzes the assessment data in determining diagnoses.

·         Outcome Identification – Identifies expected outcomes individualized to the patient.

·         Planning – Develops a plan of care that prescribes interventions to attain expected outcomes.

·         Implementation – Implements the interventions identified in the plan of care.

·         Evaluations – Evaluates the patient’s progress toward attainment of outcomes.

 

Qualifications

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed

·         Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required; BSN strongly preferred or currently enrolled in BSN Program; must be willing to obtain BSN within 3 years from date of hire.

·         Requires a minimum of 1 year of experience as an RN in Cardiac Rehab or ICU

·         BLS and ACLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

·         Registered Nurse credentialed from the Illinois Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
