Nursing Officer of the Day assumes responsibility and accountability for managing the standards and services of Nursing Service during the day tours and during the off-tours. Promotes organizational effectiveness through an understanding of and application of organizational relationship models, principles, and strategies; uses an analytical framework such as the nursing process to create an environment that facilitates the delivery of care. Applicants pending the completion of educational or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met.
