Summary: Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla is seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join the Neurosurgery Outpatient Department. The Advanced Practice Provider (APRN or PA-C) works in collaboration with the physicians to assess the physical needs of patients in the clinic setting. Orders, interpret and records results of clinical tests. Prescribes medications and makes recommendations for other therapeutic forms of treatment. Will support all neurosurgical subspecialties including: Spine Surgery, Neuro-oncology (brain, spine & spinal cord tumors), Skull Base Surgery, Cerebrovascular Services (Stroke, Aneurysms) including Endovascular Surgery, Functional Neurosurgery (Pain, Parkinsons, Epilepsy), Peripheral Nerve Surgery.
