Atlantic Health System is Seeking a Pediatric Neurology Nurse Practitioner for a Great Opportunity in Morristown New Jersey
Atlantic Health System, one of New Jersey's largest non-profit healthcare networks, is seeking a Pediatric Neurology Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join the Division of Pediatric Neurology at Morristown Medical Center, Overlook Medical Center and a satellite location which is to be determined. Responsibilities
As a Pediatric Neurology NP, you will be responsible for performing thorough history and physical examinations, ordering, and reviewing results of laboratory and radiology studies, prescribing and renewing medications, and developing and appropriately adjusting treatment plans. Additionally, you will provide counseling and education to patients and families about neurological diseases and medications. You will also triage and respond to patient and family phone calls, maintain ongoing communication with collaborating physicians, and participate in quality improvement initiatives and research projects.
Qualifications
- Graduated from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- Must be licensed or eligible for licensure in New Jersey
- ACLS and BLS certification required
- Minimum 1-2 years of Pediatrics experience preferred
- Neurology experience preferred
- Strong work ethic and a team player who can work independently
