As a RN Clinical Coordinator with Centura Health you will:* Actively support department director/manager by coordinating clinical and department activities for the unit including shift charge, department and/or service line. * Ensure that care is delivered to each patient in accordance with quality standards. * Act as liaison between physicians and patient care team. Maintain communication and promote cooperation with unit staff and other departments. Supervise the staff; authorize work procedures and assign duties. * Provides input and recommendations to the director/manager on coaching, mentoring and performance management of associates. * Promote the optimal health, well-being and safety of the patient through use of the nursing process and in accordance with patient care standards, guidelines and the State Nurse Practice Act. * Personally, accountable for relationship-based care, organizational mission, and core values. Day to Day Duties: * Developing strong working relations with surgeons, staff, and companies representatives.* Checking the operative schedule weeks in advance making sure all supplies and equipment are available. * Running the front desk.* Ensuring ORs are staffed and getting relieved on time. * Scheduling, Rounding on staff and rooms. * Ensuring ORs are cleaned and ready for a procedure.* Putting instruments and equipment away from days procedures.* Oversight of Operating Room in collaboration with OR leadership and physicians.* Secondary roles: Working in OR as a staff RN. Helping staff get breaks and lunch. 5 OR Suites, 10SDS, 7PACU Bays, 5 infusion and 2 GI Rooms Approx. 10-20+ cases per Day Schedule- 40hrs/week- Days- Variable shift times per surgical volume and current unit needsThis position will also be eligible for the Clinical LadderWhat You Bring/Job Requirements:In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following: * 1-year clinical RN Experience* Previous OR Experience required* Previous experience across multiple service lines * Previous Leadership/ Charge role preferred * Associate's Degree in Nursing required* BSN, preferred* RN License to practice in Colorado or Kansas as applicable* Current Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association certification required* ANCC; National Nursing Certification ANCC approved is strongly preferred* National Nursing Certification in Speciality Area (refer to facility addendum)* Credential: Nursing Spec* Call required- will take OR Circulator Call in rotation with Team. Our patient mix is surgical, endoscopy and infusion. Our department is made up of a dedicated team with excellent relationships between the associates and the surgeons. We are proud of our excellent surgical outcomes.* *"For the OR RN/ CST position we are looking for candidates that are true team players, passionate about the OR and patient care and safety. We're a small critical access facility with 5 OR Suites,10 SDS, 7 PACU Bays 5 infusions rooms, 2 GI Rooms. We average about 10+ Cases per day doing lots of Ortho, Gen, OB/GYN, urology and podiatry. Team players are a must- its "all hands-on deck" with room turn-overs and helping restock/ set up for next day's cases.
