VA Bedford HCS has one of, if not the largest, geriatric programs in VHA. The Community Living Centers includes 11 inpatient units serving residents with Dementia, Gero-psychiatric, Skilled Nursing, Long-Stay and Palliative Care needs. In addition, Home- Based Primary Care and various outpatient geriatric programs are included in the geriatric service line under the leadership of the Clinical Executive. Applicants pending the completion of educational or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met.
