The Emergency Department (ED) Registered Nurse manages the care of patients presenting to the Emergency Department with a wide range of problems, from the non-urgent complaint, to the life threatening emergent crisis. The Emergency Department Registered Nurse determines the patient's immediate needs, prioritize care, organize and plan the patient's treatment from admission to disposition. Applicants pending the completion of educational or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met.
