The VISN 20 Accreditation Coordinator provides oversight and execution of administrative policies, programs, and operations for VISN 20 with regard to accreditation. Has responsibility for oversight and implementation of the continuous changes in the accreditation processes for external organizations (The Joint Commission), Office of the Inspector General (OIG), Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF), Office of Medical Inspector, Commission on Cancer and etc.). Applicants pending the completion of educational or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met.
