Our Med Surg and Swing Bed units care for medical, surgical and rehab patients during acute and chronic illness, after injury, and post operatively after surgical procedures for GI, ENT, OB or Orthopedic reasons.

Your day.
As a Clinical RN Manager you need to know how to:
Provide input into nursing and organizational strategic plan for service growth and development.
Manage unit productivity to expected standards in collaboration with CNO.
Investigate all major complaints, develop action plan in collaboration with clinical staff, and report findings and expected action items to director timely.
Interview, hire and facilitate orientation process for all new hires in coordination w/the HR and nursing education.
Coach mentor and counsel staff related to performance issues utilizing PMI process to give feedback and establish action plans.
Identify special needs of patients, co-workers, physicians and their staff and communicate these to other team members.
Participate in the development and management of best practice guidelines, using evidenced based approach specific to area of the specialty, to ensure standards of care are being met.
Maintain financial accountability for assigned departments and functions within established budget.
Your experience.

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, required
Bachelor’s Degree in a health-related or business field, required
Master’s Degree, preferred
Current Montana RN license or eligible to obtain, required
Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association, required
At least two (2) years of experience in a leadership role, preferred
