Responsibilities of the RN include: Works as part of a health care team to assess client needs, plan and modify care and implement interventions. Works closely with Physician to monitor and plan client care, especially as it relates to management of detox and medical comorbidities. Observes clients, documenting and reporting changes in clients’ conditions, such as adverse reactions to medication or treatment and taking any necessary action. Evaluates medical concerns and directs clients to emergency medical care when required. Assists with hourly assessments of clients, addressing both medical and mental health issues as indicated.
