The RN is responsible for the delivery of fundamental, knowledge-based care to assigned mental health patients while developing technical competencies. They understand professional practice standards and principles and applies these concepts into mental health practice. They possess the knowledge, skills, and experience necessary to effectively apply all aspects of the nursing process within a collaborative, interdisciplinary mental health practice setting. Applicants pending the completion of educational or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met.
