Job SummaryPsychiatry Nurse Practitioner or Physician AssistantFunctions as a highly valued member of the multidisciplinary care team within the Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Health at Geisinger, where our mission is to Make Behavioral Health Easier. Serves in a primarily outpatient role or a primarily inpatient role, depending on individual interests and department needs. Both roles combine a focus on the individual patient with the goal of managing the health of a population. Primary reporting is to the respective service chief or division chief.Job DutiesEducation/Experience:Graduate of a nurse practitioner program approved by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing or completion of CAAHEP – approved program for physician assistants.
