Position Information:
The Nurse Practitioner will function as a licensed independent practitioner in collaboration with the supervising physician working under the general supervision of the Director of Primary Care, APP Manager, and physician partners within WakeMed Physician Practices delivering competent acute and/or routine problem-focused care. The Nurse Practitioner will provide medical management, procedural care, patient referrals, patient education, and care coordination to patients desiring care for routine and acute care needs. The Nurse Practitioner will function as an educator for students from healthcare education programs. The Nurse Practitioner will maintain the scope of practice to be consistent with the policies, procedures and regulatory guidelines governed by the North Carolina Medical Board and any other federal or state regulatory agencies, as well as the policies and procedures of WakeMed. Experience Requirements:
1 Year Nursing - Related Area Or Clinical - Nurse Practitioner Required - And 1 Year Clinical - Urgent Care Or Clinical - Primary Care Preferred
