Atlantic Health is Seeking Women's Oncology Physician Assistant for a Great Opportunity in Northern, New Jersey!
Atlantic Health System, one of New Jersey's largest non-profit healthcare systems, has an opportunity in Atlantic Women's Cancer Center for a Physician Assistant (PA). This role is ideal for an ambitious and skilled PA to join a well-established group with a robust staff of 4 MDs, 3 APCs, and 2 RNs. Offices are located in Morristown Medical Center and Overlook Medical Center. Morristown Medical Center has been repeatedly named the #1 hospital in New Jersey!
Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will possess medical decision-making skills, assessing pre-operative, post-operative, and complicated oncology cases with the direction of the physician. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to participating in office hours, new patient assessments, coordinating care with physicians, conducting pelvic exams, and assisting physicians in surgery. The selected candidate will assist the physicians with the care and management of gynecological surgical patients.
Qualifications
- Valid New Jersey State PA license
- New graduates and experienced PAs are encouraged to apply
- BLS required
- Surgical oncology experience preferred but willing to train a motivated new graduate
