We are currently accepting applications for Psychiatric Nurse positions at the Psychiatric Health Facility (PHF) located in Santa Barbara, California.  The Facility is a 24-hour,16-bed locked inpatient unit which requires shift work including weekends, holidays, evening, and overnights. The PHF schedule is based on 12-hour shifts. Incumbents work with adult patients who can be a danger to themselves or others due to a mental illness.  Position description: Under general supervision, provides professional psychiatric nursing care to acutely and chronically ill patients; performs related duties as required. Psychiatric Nurse I/II is a flexibly staffed series.
