St. Joseph Mercy Chelsea has an excellent full-time employment opportunity for an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Inpatient Behavioral Health Unit located in Chelsea, Michigan. The selected candidate will provide psychiatric care to patients on the Inpatient Behavioral Health Unit to whom they are assigned. They will provide inpatient consultations to patients on other hospital units, as requested. The candidate will also participate in weekend and holiday rounds rotation, as assigned.Essential Functions and Responsibilities:Patient assignment includes managing medication, collaboration with nursing and therapists around patient care and discharge planning, family meetings, and communication with the patient's PCP and outpat
