Robert J Dole VA Medical Center is starting an exciting new program for nursing, Registered Nurse Transition to Practice. The RN TTP is a 12-month, new graduate residency that includes both clinical and professional transition elements, with classroom/core curriculum, Preceptor, and Mentor components. Program emphasis will include Critical Thinking, Patient Safety and Family Centered Care, Leadership Skills, Communication Skills, Research-based Practice, and Professional Development. Applicants pending the completion of educational or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met.
