The primary practice setting for this role is in Non-VA Community Care (NVCC). The practice of the nurse in this position is based on knowledge, experience, and research, and has a direct impact on NVCC patients, including patient safety, and appropriate flow and follow up of our patients who receive care from providers in the community. Community care will be coordinated with patients from Primary Care, Mental Health, and all subspecialties and ancillary services of the Medical Center.
