Registered Nurse-Infection Prevention
The Infection Prevention Practitioner (IPP) practices in an advanced nursing role within an expanded scope of practice that is population-based. This IPP role is administratively located within the Infectious Disease Section of Medicine Service. The IPP directly reports to the Chief Nurse, Quality Management, and is accountable to the Chief, Infectious Disease, Chief of Medicine and/ Local Nursing/Facility Director or designee.
