The San Francisco VA Medical Center Nurse Practitioner (NP) has leadership in delivering and improving holistic care through collaborative strategies with others. S/he has the ability to manage complex patient situations. S/he is responsible and accountable for all elements of the nursing process when providing and/or supervising direct patient care. S/he assesses, plans, implements and evaluates care based on age-specific components. Applicants pending the completion of educational or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met.
