This position is responsible for utilizing Interqual criteria and conducting Interqual reviews using the National Utilization Management Integration database, successfully passing the Inter-Rater reliability exams annually. The incumbent will assist in the development of discharge plans and care coordination of veterans in an inpatient setting, identify barriers to discharge, develop proactive interventions, and make recommendations regarding the right level of care. Applicants pending the completion of educational or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met.
