The Surgical Specialty Clinic Registered Nurse cares for veteran patients presenting to Surgical Specialty Clinic(s). He/she is a member of an interdisciplinary team that provides comprehensive assessment and treatment as well as teaching and care management for the patient. The RN in this position reports to and takes direction from the Nurse Manager of the assigned area. RNs may be assigned or floated to any Surgical Specialty Clinic/Position within VA Maine as dictated by patient care needs. Applicants pending the completion of educational or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met.
