The Licensed Vocational Nurse utilizes technical and manual skills under the direction of the Registered Nurse, Nurse Practitioner or a licensed Physician in the assigned area. Incumbent has the knowledge and skills to carry out a wide range of nursing care duties for selected groups of residents. Must be able to work alongside the Nursing Assistant to provide assistance with ADLs, feeding and recreational activities. Applicants pending the completion of educational or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met.
