The Registered Nurse provides direct patient care for the Community Living Center(CLC) located at the Oklahoma City VA Medical Center. The CLC is a skilled short /long term nursing unit providing care to veterans with rehabilitation services, palliative and hospice care (PCU), geriatric evaluation management and spinal cord injury. Team members collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, case management, and discharge planning, focusing on pain control, symptom management and relief of suffering. Applicants pending the completion of educational or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met.
