The Dayton, OH VA Medical Center is seeking a well-qualified Nurse Practitioner (NP) to work in our Medical Service. The NP works in partnership with their Core Team as well as other Tier II disciplines (Pharmacist, Social Worker, Dietician, Behavioral Health) and Expanded Team members (family/caregiver, internal and community- based services) in providing effective disease prevention/health promotion and chronic disease care management of Veterans. Basic Requirements: 1. Citizenship: Citizen of the United States. (Non-citizens may be appointed when it is not possible to recruit qualified citizens in accordance with chapter 3, section A, paragraph 3g, this part.) 2. English Language Proficiency: RNs appointed to direct patient care positions must be proficient in spoken and written English
