The primary role of this position is to collaborate within an interdisciplinary team of physicians, nurses, physician assistants, psychologists, social workers, peer support specialists and pharmacists, to formulate and implement comprehensive assessment and treatment plans for complex adult and transition age youth with bipolar disorder. This position is responsible for providing psychiatric care services, including assessing, diagnosing, prescribing, treating, and educating patients and family members. Works closely with physicians and other clinicians in a team approach to patient care.
