The Registered Professional Nurse in the Community Living Center (CLC) is qualified by education and experience to provide care for assigned residents and supervision of subordinate direct care staff in planning, designing, integrating, implementing, modifying, and evaluating the effectiveness of interdisciplinary care plan interventions and treatments and/or services to improve the quality of resident care. The CLC RN executes position responsibilities that demonstrate leadership, experience, and creative approaches to management of the long-term care resident. The RN functional role includes organizing and coordinating the clinical components in response to individual healthcare needs along the illness and care continuum while a resident within the Community Living Center.
