The Addiction Treatment Center (ATC) provides outpatient clinic care for Veterans with addiction disorders with age ranges from young adult to geriatric. The mission is to provide compassionate care and instill hope in recovery. ATC uses the most current and evidence-based approaches, treating the whole individual, including underlying factors that contribute to problems with substance abuse. The RN practice in the Addictions Treatment Clinic. Patient population present with concomitant substance use intoxication who may need detoxification, and they may present with a psychosis, bipolar affective disorder, major depression, schizophrenia, suicide ideation/homicide ideation with a plan.
