Nurse Practitioner, Spinal Cord Injury & Disorders Program
The Nurse Practitioner, Spinal Cord Injury & Disorders (SCI&D) Program is a registered, professional nurse practitioner (APRN) who provides care in a variety of settings to a clinically and psychosocially complex population of spinal cord injury and/or disorder Veterans of the VA Pacific Islands Health Care System (VA PIHCS) in Honolulu, Hawaii. The duties of the Nurse Practitioner SCI&D include regular travel to provide specialized spinal cord injury & disorders care to Veterans with SCI&D across the VA PIHCS catchment area. The Nurse Practitioner SCI&D serves as a member of the interdisciplinary team and performs duties independently.
