The RN - Staff Nurse - Emergency Department is a direct care provider whose scope of practice includes providing nursing care for patients presenting to the Emergency Department. Duties includes, but not limited to: Assesses, coordinates and expedites the flow of patients through the ED while assuring adherence to ED/ENA Standards of Practice Initiates appropriate clinical pathways/protocols in the ED Responds to a wide variety of complex medical, surgical and psychiatric emergencies Collaborates with multidisciplinary entities within the health care system Complies with legal requirements for documentation and reporting of occurrences Prioritizes patient care needs and delivers appropriate urgent / emergent services Participates in staff education and Quality Improvement activities Work Schedule: Tour of duty Includes Sunday- Saturday, Rotating weekends and holidays All Tours available: 0730-1600, 0730-2000, 1530-2400, 1130-2400, 1930-0800, 2300-0800 Relocation/Recruitment Incentives: Authorized Financial Disclosure Report: Not required Pay Scale NN 11 (Emergency Room)
