RN - Psych ECT
Overview The ECT RN is primarily responsible for the assessment, planning, delivery, and evaluation of all phases of nursing care for all patients undergoing ECT (Electroconvulsive therapy) treatment. The ECT RN may also rotate to the Main PACU to provide peri anesthesia care for patients in the Main Operating Rooms or work as the behavioral medical flyer if not needed to provide care in their primary department. The RN is responsible for performing these responsibilities in accordance with all policy, procedure, and professional practice guidelines. The RN coordinates care with members of the health care team and delegates responsibilities to others as appropriate. Will also work in the Behavioral Medical Flyer role as needed. Responsibilities
