Dignity Health Medical Group - Arizona is seeking a Behavioral Health Nurse Practitioner to join our practice at our Outpatient Behavioral Health Clinic at St. Josephs Hospital and Medical Center in Phoenix, AZ.
Opportunity Highlights:
Full-time opportunity, Monday - Friday schedule
Clinical responsibilities include:
taking patient's history
performing physical examinations
ordering appropriate diagnostic tests
establishing diagnosis and provide care and management for common illnesses and disease prevention in the pediatric and adult patients
making appropriate referrals to specialists and community agencies
Respond to emergency situations and may also see patients in the intensive care units
Assist in the admission, transfer or discharge, as needed
Participate in quality assurance and quality improvement programs
Work within an experienced multidisciplinary team to care for patients
Responsible for the management of the standards of care, quality, national certifications, and representation to key stakeholders for the specialty program

Requirements:
Master's in Nursing
Graduate of accredited program for Nurse Practitioners
Three years clinical experience in Behavioral Health
AZ RN license or RN License from a Compact State
Registered in AZ as Nurse Practitioner
Hold and maintain national certification in NP area, under AZ regulations
American Heart Association BCLS; ACLS Specialty certification when applicable; acceptable if obtained within the first 18 months
