Advanced Practice Registered Nurses / Physician Assistants
Overview
Atlantic Medical Group is seeking a Nurse Practitioner for our Cardio-Heart Success department. This is a full time, 37.5 hour per week position, Monday through Friday. The successful candidate will have at least 2 years of cardiac/acutecare/critical care experience as a Nurse Practitioner.
Responsibilities
Essential Job Functions:
Candidate will have the ability to utilize the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate the plan of care for patients served. Through the model of Shared Governance, collaborate with all members of the health care team with a focus on promoting evidenced based care within a healing culture for the patient population served and their families.

Candidate must have excellent communication and computer skills.
Minimum Experience Required:
Cardiology/Critical Care background experience preferred. Candidate will demonstrate and embrace the PRIDE core values in every aspect of their job. Servicing both outpatient and inpatient, include but not limited to ordering, conducting and interpreting appropriate diagnostic and laboratory tests, prescription of pharmacologic agents and treatments and, non-pharmacologic therapies in a cost-efficient manger. Candidate will work autonomously as well as in collaboration with a variety of individuals to diagnose and manage patients and work as a patient advocate. Demonstrates commitment to a patient-focus model of care. Performs H&P exams, handles daily patient rounds, patient education and discharge summaries. IP duties include care of acute to critically ill patients including those with long/short term mechanical circulatory support. Office patients will require knowledge of advanced heart failure concepts and care of the community VAD patient. Candidate must be eager to learn advanced CHF, LVAD and OHT, and work to the top of their license.

Required License: Valid NJ Drivers License
Education: BSN, Masteras Degree
Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS
