The Lotus Center for Healing and Wellness is hiring a full time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner for outpatient medication management to join our interdisciplinary team. The APRN must be board certified and licensed to practice in the state of Utah with prescription privileges. The APRN hired will provide mental health services in an outpatient clinical practice setting. They will demonstrate psychiatric advanced practice nursing skills in health promotion, diagnosis and treatment; provide and manage pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic therapies; and use the process of assessment, diagnosis, management, and evaluation to provide evidenced-based care to address the psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs of patients. The APRN will perform a comprehensive health history, review of systems, and psychiatric mental health examination, concluding with diagnosis and treatment, order, perform, and interpret diagnostic procedures and tests, medication management and follow up.
