Advanced Practice Registered Nurses / Physician Assistants
Practice Description
MHealth Fairview is seeking a board certified Psychiatric and Mental Health Advanced Practice Nurse (NP/CNS) with experience and/or strong interest in providing inpatient psychiatry care to adult patients at the University of Minnesota Medical Center in Minneapolis, MN.
In this collaborative practice model, you will be actively involved in all patient care including intakes, follow-ups, and medication management. You will have the opportunity to see your own patients with physician oversight as needed or required.

Practice Details:
Practice located at the University of Minnesota Medical Center in Minneapolis, MN.
Collaborative interdisciplinary team includes: psychiatry associates, RNs, psychiatrists, APRNs, social workers, and medicine hospitalists.
We have a fully integrated Electronic Medical Record (EPIC).
Call Coverage: weekend call occurs 8 times per year and weeknight call 15-20 days per year
Average daily census is 12 beds / provider
Openings: 1.0 FTE

Qualifications
Graduate of a school or nursing and accreditedAdult or Family (Lifespan) Psychiatric & Mental Health Nurse Practitioner or Clinical Nurse Specialist training program
BC/BE through the AANP or ANCC
Licensed or ability to obtain APRN license with the Minnesota Board of Nursing
Ability to obtain and /or maintain DEA certification for the State of Minnesota.
Meet threshold criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and Privileges (if required)
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience in psychiatric clinical practice.
