Kootenai Health specializes in psychiatric and chemical dependency treatment services for individuals of all ages in the Inland Northwest. Located in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, our Behavioral Health Program is the second largest in the state of Idaho. Our program provides a safe, evidence-based practice in a therapeutic environment designed to assist adults with mental illness in their recovery process. As the Behavioral Health- Adult Acute Nurse Manager, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating the delivery of overall nursing care to patients in our 26-bed department for patients 18 or older. In this role, you will design, coach, and lead your nursing staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training clinical team members in collaboration with your Clinical Coordinators, Charge RNs, and Preceptor staff. You will utilize your strong mentoring and leadership skills to ensure that staff is participating in available professional development opportunities and current in required training and certifications to allow them to provide the best care possible to our patients. In your role as the Behavioral Health- Adult Acute Nurse Manager at Kootenai Health, you will have the opportunity to take pride in being a part of a healthy, growing, and high functioning organization as you work to enrich the lives of those around you. To be successful in this role, you will need: - A Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
- BSN required
- Minimum of 3 years' experience as a charge nurse or other equivalent leadership experience
- Licensure in the State of Idaho as a Registered Professional Nurse (RN)
- BLS required from American Red Cross or Healthcare Provider Card from the American Heart Association
