Advanced Practice Registered Nurses / Physician Assistants
Elon University is currently accepting applications for a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. This is a 8.5 month, fulltime (30 hour per week) position, September – May. The psychiatric provider will provide psychiatric evaluations, psychiatric follow-up appointments, and crisis interventions. This position will collaborate with supervising physician and clinical director in coordinating care for patients, as well as consult and coordinate with Counseling Services team members to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate patient care plans. Ability to utilize common software programs such as word processing, spreadsheets and databases. More specifically, ability to utilize electronic medical record system (Titanium) as well as respond to email communication. Strong candidates will have interest and experience in working with college age populations presenting with a wide range of diagnoses, and from a wide range of diverse populations.
