Director of a newly formed, New York State funded, entity for families opting out of the Health Home program but wanting to retain services. Director position is highly visible and interfaces with the Client, as well as local resources. This will be a leadership position overseeing a team of clinical and quality assurance (QA) staff. The population of this Health Home is broadly pediatric SPMI/SED who may qualify for long-term case management.
The Director position works closely with the Department of Health (DOH) and is responsible for hosting meetings with the DOH to update on any operational issues, policy or programmatic changes as directed, managing compliant work process, budgeting and forecasting among other duties
Collaborates with the Project Leadership in designing, developing and implementing a comprehensive QA Policy and Plan that effectively monitors and measures the NYS Uniform Assessment System (UAS) and the pre-evaluation processing in the Client system
Oversees matters related to the Fair Hearing process
Plans, organizes, and directs the activities of staff to ensure compliance to contract requirements and operational goals; overseeing all work processes, making revisions, and developing protocols, as necessary
Supervises and manages project staff, assigns and directs activities at the Central Office and the Field Operations Offices
Establishes and maintains relationships with SDOH, Statewide LDSS offices and affiliated agencies, Community Based Organizations, providers and health plans, to ensure the flow of information on a regular and ongoing basis
Develops performance goals and objectives for the project and staff and monitors the achievement of those goals
Supports a diverse workforce and identifies and develops successors for direct reports
Assists in the creation and implementation of innovative methodologies to improve services and operations

Additional Salary Information: The position will be based out of lower Manhattan with a salary range of $130- $140k along with a comprehensive benefit package.
