About the Organization:
Community Behavioral Health Hospital (CBHH) is a small 16 bed inpatient short – term, psychiatric hospital for adults 18 years of age or older, with the following services offered: Acute, short - term hospitalization for assessment, stabilization and treatment. The hospital is staffed 24 hours a day and employs roughly 35 staff members in the following areas: psychiatry, medicine, nursing, psychology, social work and occupational therapy. The hospitals treatment and aftercare plans are also coordinated with community based providers including county case managers.
About the Opportunity:
The highly motivated and talented Psychiatric Advanced Practice Nurses at Annandale Community Behavioral Health Hospital, provide outstanding professional nursing care to ensure the medical, physical, and psycho-social needs of each patient are met, as well as promote their overall wellbeing. Nurses also facilitate the admission of new patients to the unit and are essential members of our interdisciplinary treatment teams, actively participating in the Integrated Therapeutic Treatment planning process. Psychiatric Advanced Practice Nursing opportunities include full-time, part-time, and intermittent positions to work either the rotating day-evening shift or overnight shift.
