Advanced Practice Registered Nurses / Physician Assistants
The Nurse Practitioner (NP) works collaboratively with our psychiatrists in both outpatient and inpatient settings, providing services and care to the adult population, including clinical diagnosis, intervention planning, medication management and discharge planning. The NPP functions as an integral part of the clinic team. The position is Full-Time.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Provide psychiatric assessment
Provide clarification of clinical diagnosis
Recommend treatment options and follow treatment outcomes
Active participation in case conferences and related team based meetings
Prescribe medication as appropriate for client care
Work with the clinical staff towards the integration of health
Partner with other staff toward best practice intervention planning
Recommend discharge and aftercare planning
Provide client education on health issues and strategies for recovery

Nurse practitioner degree with specialized training in Psychiatry. A current license to practice as a nurse practitioner in Florida State.
