Nurse Manager – Behavioral Health. Salary $110K to $120K, based on experience.
Job Description: Horizon Health, the nation’s largest operator of hospital based behavioral health services, in partnership with Sunnyside Community Hospital in Sunnyside, WA, and Toppenish Community Hospital in Toppenish, WA, seeks a Nurse Manager for our 15-bed detox/dual diagnosis program located at Toppenish Community Hospital.
The Nurse Manager provides managerial support in conjunction with the Program Director by providing supervision and evaluation of all nursing personnel on the unit. He/she contributes to the program, nursing, and hospital through commitment to nursing goals, the supervision of clinical staff, and participation in the community relations program.
BSN required, MSN preferred, and minimum of 3-5 years Psych Charge Nurse, Assistant Nurse Manager, or Nurse Manager experience in a psychiatric setting required.
Completes position responsibilities by following established guidelines & protocols within the appropriate time frame.
Demonstrates good skills in all forms of communication. Works well with others in a spirit of teamwork and cooperation.
Maintains education and development appropriate for position.
Adheres to established hospital and department guidelines & protocols. Supports hospital mission, vision, and values.
