Diamond Healthcare has a brand new psychiatric service line - Treatment in Place - starting throughout Virginia - from Northern Virginia to Tidewater to Southwest Virginia. We are looking for qualified, competent and caring psychiatric nurse practitioners who are looking for a new opportunity with a work/life balance.

No weekend rounds
Flexible hours - can be weekday daytime hours only; weekend or evening hours are available

See patients in LTC setting
Primarily Geriatric patients, with some Adult
Both full and part-time positions available. Per Diem too!

Your responsibilities include:
Perform initial psychiatric assessments
Ability to prescribe
Integral part of facility Treatment Team
Ability to work collaboratively and independently
Master's, postgraduate, or doctoral degree from a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner program accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) or the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) (formerly NLNAC | National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission).
Eligible for Psychiatric- Mental Health Nurse Practitioner certification through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).
