Dartmouth-Hitchcock is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Pain Management Center team. The Pain Clinic at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center is seeking a motivated, bright and passionate Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join its current team. Act as an expert consult in this high tech, highly advancing field
Promote healthy lifestyle and wellness choices
Provide surgical assistance with spinal cord stimulator and peripheral nerve stimulator implantation as well as intrathecal pump management
Contribute to active ongoing research efforts underway to help patients improve function and reduce reliance on medications
Assess and manage patients with chronic pain syndromes
Act as a leader in ethically-driven, compassionate, evidence-based management of care for patients with chronic medical conditions.
The PA or NP will work as a member of the Pain Management Center team to establish the highest level of care for patients at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, acting as an expert consult for all patients alike. Scope of responsibility includes clinical practice, education, and program development. The candidate will have an opportunity to participate in research and clinical trials, and will be eligible to hold a faculty rank through the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth at the Instructor level.
