Ideal candidates will have:
Bachelors with Master’s degree preferred but not required
Current management experience in case management, care coordination, discharge planning, and/or utilization review
Knowledge of payer requirements and discharge planning regulations
Proven ability to effectively analyze issues, address them appropriately, evaluate the department’s outcomes, and collect / analyze data
Supports patient satisfaction initiatives and can develop innovative ideas
Knowledge of external requirements such as TJC and Department of Health
Excellent interpersonal, conflict resolution and team building skills
