JOB SUMMARY - Infusion/Chemotherapy Nurse
Department: Infusion Reports To: Director, Infusion/Medical & Surgical
The Infusion Nurse independently provides and coordinates infusion activities to assure compassionate patient care. Provides direct patient care in compliance with professional practice and hospital standards in outpatient setting. Administration of chemotherapy IV fluids, hydration and other medications.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:(The following are minimal qualifications necessary for entry into this classification)
Education:Graduation from accredited Nursing Program. Completes annual educational requirements.
License(s): Current State of Alaska Registered Nurse licensure (must meet education requirement(s) for Alaska State licensure).
Certification(s):Current BLS for Healthcare Provider CPR or CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer certification. Certified Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) by the American Heart Association. ONS Chemotherapy Certification
Experience:One (1) year of experience in infusion and/or chemotherapy. Minimum of three years (3) current clinical experience. Advancement from CN V based on BRH Clinical Nurse Advancement Program; approval of Professional Practice Review Board. Proficient clinical competency in primary specialty; minimum of one (1) float area
2 openings. Employer will assist with relocation costs.
Additional Salary Information: Relocation Package: Out of State - $10,000 + 30 Days housing. In State - $6,000 + 30 Days housing.

In addition to Juneau, Douglas, we serve Yakutat, Skagway, Haines, Sitka, Hoonah and Angoon as well as other Southeast and Alaskan communities.The primary and secondary service area has a combined population of 58,000.
