Maryville University is accepting applications for a full-time Coordinator of the Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) Concentration to begin January 2018. This is an 11 month faculty position. Rank will be commensurate with education and experience. This faculty member will coordinate the online PMHNP program to ensure that educational objectives of the program are attained. In addition to teaching responsibilities, the Coordinator is responsible for promotion of the PMHNP program and maintenance of high academic standards. The Coordinator will work with the Director of the Nurse Practitioner Program and Assistant Dean for Nursing to manage faculty or student issues or concerns.
The Coordinator will maintain relationships with external constituencies such as Pearson-Embanet and student preceptors, serve on committees and advise student scholarly projects. The successful candidate must be committed to fostering a culturally diverse atmosphere for faculty, staff, and students.

MSN Nationally certified as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Minimum of five years recent clinical experience as a PMHNP Unencumbered RN licensure in the United States Prior online teaching experience
Doctorate in Nursing or related field Prior online teaching experience in PMHNP
